AN ONLINE food delivery firm has revealed people in Portsmouth have among the sweetest teeth in the country.

Deliveroo looked at trends for its customers during the last lockdown since December and found that sweet dishes were the pick of the bunch for many people.

Regular milkshakes from Shake and Grill in Elm Grove, Southsea, were the most popular order for people using Deliveroo in the city.

Deliveroo also found there was an 188 per cent increase in Mochi orders between January and March across the country - when the Japanese dessert took the internet by storm.

Data also revealed that Brits left it to the last minute to grab their Easter eggs as Deliveroo saw a 450 per cent increase in orders.

In January, the firm also reported a huge increase in demand for vegan food, with orders of plant-based dishes up 163 per cent on the previous year.
