Hide AdAll the time England take part in Euro 2016 in France, the Gosport pub will be called The Three Lions in honour of England’s nickname.
The name-change is part of an initiative being run by lager firm Carlsberg to get people packed into their locals for the Euro 2016 tournament.
All pubs with the word ‘three’ or ‘lions’ were given the chance to take part in the idea.

‘They have backed it and are backing the squad, too.’
As well as the name on the outside of the pub, all signage inside will also reflect the name change from the Three Tuns to the Three Lions.
When England exit the tournament, or lift the title, all the material and exclusive glasses will be sold.

‘Hopefully that is until the very end. It would be great to see them win it.’
The pub has been kitted out in England flags and its sign had been changed to feature England captain and Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney, Leicester’s Premier League title winner Jamie Vardy and Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.
