Through the People’s Postcode Lottery, six residents in Acorn Close, Rowner, have won a grand each after their postcode, PO13 0DA, was announced as a winning address today.

The People’s Postcode Lottery has prizes up for grabs every day, costing £10 per month to play.

Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: ‘Congratulations to our winners – what a great surprise for them, I hope they treat themselves to something nice with their winnings.’

A number of good causes from across the country are supported by the People’s Postcode Lottery, with a minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales going directly to charities.

Today’s prize draw was promoted by Oxfam, which has received more than £9.6m in funding from lottery players so far.
