Albie Somerset captured this aerial shot of the road closed off for the street party.
He said: ‘Despite the strong winds blowing nearly half the bunting down over night the residents friends of The Haven and Mariners Walk had a great afternoon celebrating the Platinum Jubilee. There were fun and games for the children along with face painting and a free tombola, the adults had plenty of food and drink. Being Derby Day and the Queen’s love of horse racing we even had our own horse racing meeting with horses like Where’s ‘Arry, Royal Romper, Queen of Hearts and The Corgies took part in four races. We even had plenty of music supplied by local musician Ray Caruana supported by the local Swinging Radio 60s presenter. ‘
