A Portsmouth man was found dead in a Southampton car park, an inquest heard.

Donald Jobe, 39, of Milton Road, was found unresponsive in Bedford Place multi-storey car park in Lower Banister Street on July 8 last year.

An inquest was opened at Winchester Coroner’s Court into his death, which heard the preliminary cause of death was due to “mixed substance misuse”.

The full hearing is due to take place on August 18.
