‘I would like to thank the fans for their support and wish the club and the players, past and present, all the best for the future.’

Catlin’s exit comes after players Dan Wooden, Warren Bentley, TJ Cuthbertson, Mike Carter and Sam Pearce left the club in recent days.

Troubled Borough have been served three winding-up petitions by HM Revenue & Customs this season.

The most recent came on December 21 but the National League South club have stated they have settled their debts and the order will be thrown out on January 30.
