Portsmouth title-winner and former Chelsea midfielder seals surprise switch just 14 months after £5m transfer
Tino Anjorin netted two goals in 14 appearances during Pompey’s League One title-winning campaign.
Former Pompey midfielder Tino Anjorin is on the move for the third time since his Fratton Park exit two years ago.
The 24-year-old endured a frustrating maiden campaign with Torino following his big-money switch in July 2025.

Anjorin failed to register a goal or an assist in 18 appearances for Il Toro, with foot and hip problems sidelining him for extended periods throughout his sole term in Turin.
But just over 12 months into a three-year deal, Ignazio Abate’s side have sanctioned an exit for the Pompey title winner, who has since sealed a surprise switch to Turkey.

The midfielder has completed a temporary switch to Super Lig outfit Goztepe, where he’s penned a season-long loan agreement, which also includes an option to buy.
Although the English transfer window slammed shut on September 1, Turkish outfits were able to conduct their business until September 4, with Anjorin finalising a switch in the final knockings of their deadline day.
The move to Gursel Aksel Stadium Stadium hands the former England youth international a much-needed fresh start after a difficult campaign in Serie A.
Gozetepe will have an option to make the deal permanent in 12 months time, although the fee has yet to be disclosed.
Anjorin could make his first appearance for Goz Goz as they face Gaziantep in the Super Lig this evening, with Stanimir Stoilov’s side winless after their opening three matches of the season.
Pompey wanting Tino Anjorin after loan stay

The once highly-rated playmaker arrived at Fratton Park on a season-long loan in August 2023, bolstering John Mousinho’s promotion ambitions.
Despite a promising start to the campaign, the ex-Huddersfield Town man tore his hamstring just 44 minutes into an FA Cup defeat to Chesterfield in November 2023 which - despite initial hopes of an eight-week lay-off - sidelined him until April 2024.
Anjorin went on to amass a further six outings for the Blues, which included a start in their dramatic 3-2 success against Barnsley to seal the League One title.
However, the versatile operator opted for a fresh start that summer, instead sealing a permanent Chelsea exit to sign for Empoli.
Although Gli Azzurri suffered Serie A relegation that season, Anjorin collected five goal contributions in 22 outings, with his impressive displays seeing Italian giants Juventus touted with a move.
A move to Turin followed for the playmaker, who joined Torino in a £5m switch last summer before an injury-hit campaign has since seen him join Goztepe on loan.
