Pompey remained quiet in the first part of the transfer window, which opened for the first 10 days of June due to the Club World Cup.
The Blue weren't the only Championship side not to show their hand in that period, with only six second-tier outfits recruiting new faces.
There are still plenty of rumours and speculation doing the rounds, as ever, with a number of names including the likes of Jamal Lowe, Charlie Savage and more being tipped with a move to Fratton Park this summer.
While a number of those links being rubbished, there are a few who are on the Blues radar ahead of the forthcoming transfer window, which reopens on Monday.
We’ve taken a look at what Pompey’s new-look starting XI could look like if those rumours are true.

5. CB: Rob Atkinson
Mousinho has made his feelings clear over a return for Atkinson this summer. The 26-year-old was outstanding during his loan spell from Bristol City, playing a key role in Pompey’s survival bid. He has 12 months remaining on his Ashton Gate deal but it remains to be seen where his future lies after Liam Manning’s move to Norwich City. 6. LB: Connor Ogilvie
The left-back rose to the occasion last term and emerged as one of the leading lights in the Championship for Pompey. Although Jacob Farrell will be hoping to push for the 29-year-old’s place in the side, Ogilvie will go into the new season as Mousinho’s first choice. | Jason Brown/ProSportsImages

8. CM: Andre Dozzell
The midfielder had a 12-month option triggered on his deal after Pompey secured their Championship survival. Despite a difficult start to the season, Dozzell impressed alongside Freddie Potts and amassed 41 appearances, scoring two goals. | Jason Brown
