Pompey remained quiet in the first part of the transfer window, which opened for the first 10 days of June due to the Club World Cup.
The Blue weren't the only Championship side not to show their hand in that period, with only six second-tier outfits recruiting new faces.
There are still plenty of rumours and speculation doing the rounds, as ever, with a number of names including the likes of Jamal Lowe, Charlie Savage and more being tipped with a move to Fratton Park this summer.
While a number of those links being rubbished, there are a few who are on the Blues radar ahead of the forthcoming transfer window, which reopens on Monday.
We’ve taken a look at what Pompey’s new-look starting XI could look like if those rumours are true.

9. RM: Adrian Segecic
The News understands Pompey are monitoring the Australian talent, who is set to depart Sydney FC following the end of his deal. The Blues are believed to be keeping tabs on the 20-year-old, who finished as the A-League’s joint-top scorer last season. 10. CAM: Callum Lang
Lang was another member of Mousinho’s squad to impress in the Championship following the Blues’ promotion from League One. Despite missing two-and-a-half months with a hamstring injury, the 26-year-old scored 10 goals and was the leading light in a difficult first half of the campaign. Lang will be looking to kick on and once again and cement his place in the number 10 role. | Jason Brown/ProSportsImages

11. LM: Josh Murphy
Murphy was recognised by fans and players alike for his outstanding maiden campaign at Fratton Park, with the winger winning The News/SportsMail player of the year award - along with 12 other accolades. The 30-year-old tormented Championship defences with his pace and creativity, scoring seven goals and amassing 14 assists. Will continue to be one of the first names on the team sheet next term. | Jason Brown/ProSportsImages

12. ST: Colby Bishop
After returning to action just over three months after undergoing heart surgery, Bishop appeared in every game for Mousinho’s side following his comeback in November. The Magic Man ended the campaign as the Blues’ top scorer and will continue to lead the line in the Championship for Pompey next season. | Jason Brown/ProSportsImages
