Pompey were humbled by non-league Aldershot, not for the first time, as they slumped to a poor defeat.
John Mousinho’s side were undone by two goals inside two minutes from Hakeem Sandah and Marcus Dinanga midway through the first half as their National League hosts ran out 2-0 winners.
And here are our Pompey player ratings...
17. Madiodio Dia - 6
(Replaced Hayden Matthews on 46 mins) Did okay, but there was one worrying moment with an errant pass out of defence which went straight to an Aldershot player. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
18. Ibane Bowat - 6
(Replaced Nathaniel Chioma on 46 mins) Continuing to play at left-back in pre-season and it was a solid display from a player who is likely to leave the Blues this summer. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
19. Luke Le Roux - 5
(Replaced Fraser Thomas on 46 mins) Put himself about and had his customary talking to from the referee. However, he couldn’t stamp his authority on the game. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
20. Chinedu Agu - 6
(Replaced Odin Bailey on 46 mins) Strong-running display from the centre of midfield, full of effort and endeavour. Wasted a glorious chance on 80 minutes. | Simon Roe/ProSportsImages
