The Polish teenage starlet was linked with a move to Pompey over the weekend, with League One rivals Swindon and Gillingham also touted to be interested in the 19-year-old.

But Bogusz is expected to move to Spanish Segunda Division side UD Logrones on loan, according to reports.

The clubs have until 11pm to complete the move before the close of the international window, with the deadline for domestic deals arriving on October 16.

Bogusz is highly thought of at Elland Road and signed a new deal at the club in the summer until 2023, after arriving from Polish side Ruch Chorzow at the start of last year

The attacking midfielder has made three appearances under Marcelo Bielsa and has been previously been linked to a move with Italian side Napoli.

Pompey remain in the market for an attacking midfielder, with one spot currently available for new faces - if Reeco Hackett-Fairchild is to be registered, with an immediate recall available on his loan to National League Bromley after 28 days.
