Last year Labour MP Kim Leadbeater's Bill failed to become law.

Now another Labour MP, Lauren Edwards, is reintroducing the Bill and MPs will have a chance to vote for or against it on September 11.

Mr Mak said: "I voted against the Bill throughout its Parliamentary stages last time and will do so again as I continue to have reservations about it. This Bill contains the same flaws as the last Bill."
