Delight as Gunwharf Quays gets ready to welcome New Balance, Columbia and Vilebrequin

The shopping outlet is a popular spot for people on the hunt for discounted designer brands - and three new brands are heading to Portsmouth.
American outdoor brand, Columbia will open its doors tomorrow (June 27), meanwhile, sportswear specialists New Balance, will be opening later this year. These new openings follow the recent addition of a pop-up Vilebrequin store, stocking luxury swimwear for the summer months.

Hide AdColumbia will be located in a 2180 sq ft store between The White Company and UGG whereas New Balance will be situated in a 2,696 sq ft unit between Lacoste and Loake. The pop-up Vilebrequin store is located between Crew Clothing Co and Michael Kors.
Yvonne Clay, Centre Director at Gunwharf Quays, commented: “We’re thrilled to announce Columbia, New Balance and Vilebrequin have chosen Gunwharf Quays as their first Hampshire locations.
“With an array of products for both everyday-wear and specialist outdoor activities, there is something for everyone at Columbia. Vilebrequin’s luxury swimwear is the perfect addition to our waterfront location for the summer months.

Hide AdThe Vilebrequin store pop-up store at Gunwharf Quays is the brand’s second outlet branch and will be open until September 2024, stocking the brand’s full range of high-quality tailored swimwear and apparel. Marcel Misere, retail director, Europe at Columbia said; “We are currently seeing an incredible performance across our locations internationally in terms of like-for-like sales.
“We will continue to build on this momentum and further our reach in Europe with new stores over the coming years.”
The announcement of the three new brands finding their homes in the outlet centre follow on from the confirmation that Gunwharf Quays has received planning permission for the next stage of its £45m makeover.
