QA Hospital visitor restrictions fully lifted as norovirus cases ease

Visitor restriction at QA Hospital have now been fully lifted as cases of norovirus ease.

These restrictions were loosened for most wards on April 25 and have now been fully lifted with visitation returning to normal.

A post on PHU’s social media page announced the news and thanked the community for its support. The post said: “ We are pleased to share that visiting is now back to normal across all of our adult inpatient wards and hospital services. To help keep everyone safe, please do not visit the hospital if you have experienced diarrhoea or vomiting in the last 48 hours.

“A big thank you to our staff and community for all your support.”
