In one conversation Demi told Nas: ‘I have been here 24 hours and I would say you have been energetic for 20 hours.’

Twitter users also rushed to social media to vent about both Sophie and Leanne chatting to Nas about choosing one of them before the recoupling.

One wrote: ‘Really gone off Sophie. Hyping Nas and Demi up up as a couple until she realised she could be going home, then begging to be saved by him.’

In the preview for tonight’s episode islander Shaughna Phillips is seen chatting to Sophie about how unfair it was to pressure Nas to pick her.

Another posted: ‘I’m glad Shaughna is standing up for Demi against the girls who were begging Nas to choose them and putting that pressure on him. He has been waiting for weeks for someone to come in for him and he FINALLY got it and they wanted him to throw it away for them? No mate.’
