Gosport Bus Station works nears completion with opening date announced

The Gosport Bus Interchange on South Street is set to finally be operational from next week. The new station, which will replace the old station situated next door, is set to be operational to the public on Wednesday, October 9.
Hampshire County Council confirmed the opening date in what will be welcome news for many. Creating the new station has been talked about for many years but plans were finally approved in May 2023 with work beginning thereafter.

Hide AdThe move also enables Gosport Borough Council to push on with their plans to demolition the old building where the current bus station is. Once demolished the council is hoping to install a People’s Park which will include bistro’s and bars. Further details on the plans can be found here.
