FOR weeks hundreds of thousands of people have watched on as Portsmouth girl Demi Jones tries to find a man on the hit ITV2 show Love Island.

They were delighted as sparks flew with original islander Nas Majeed when Demi was parachuted in as a late entry, but he later dumped her.

A flirty foray with Southampton boy George Day followed but it wasn’t to be, and Demi kept her place on the show after he was sent home.

Second favourite to clinch the prize are Finley and Paige, whose Love Island relationship has lasted almost the length of the show.

They had been favourites during the majority of the series but are now faced with victory odds of 11/4.

Meanwhile Demi and her Teesider beau, Luke Mabbot, are third favourites to win with odds of 17/2.

The pair’s popularity has been slowly rising since they recently coupled up.

Bookmakers say fourth finalist couple, Ched Uzor and Jess Gale, are 35/1 to win.

Whoever wins will have to quell their amazement to be interviewed by Love Island host Laura Whitmore after the show.

The Love Island finale will last a 90 minutes and air at 9pm on Sunday, on ITV 2.
