Revised services and cancellations across Hampshire train stations following 'trespasser on line'
‘We are very sorry for any disruption’
Cancellations and delays are expected at multiple railway stations this morning due to a trespasser on the line.
There are disruptions across South Western Railway due to a trespasser on the line between Basingstoke and Fleet.
As a result, train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised, with disruption expected until 11am.
Despite response teams attending the scene and removing the trespasser, trains between London Waterloo and Eastleigh, Portsmouth Harbour, Yeovil Junction or Basingstoke are also facing delays.
South Western Railway wrote on its website: “Please allow extra time for your journey and check for updates.
“If you need any help with your journey, please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.We are very sorry for any disruption to your journey.”
