A TEENAGE cyclist was taken to hospital after a crash with a bus on Tuesday morning.

Sussex Police were alerted by the ambulance service to reports of a collision involving a pedal cycle and a bus between Chichester and Bognor on the B2166 Pagham Road just before 8am.

An 18-year-old man suffered minor injuries in the crash, police confirmed.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: ‘One ambulance crew attended the scene and one patient was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to St Richard’s Hospital.’

According to traffic reports, the accident happened where there are temporary traffic lights, near Marsh Lane.
