Watch Gary Roberts replicate Patrik Berger's classic Pompey strike
Roberts, who took on the challenge as part of BT Sport’s #GoalsRecreated series, took four attempts to stick his effort in the back of the net.
Berger netted the goal in a 2-1 win over The Addicks on 21 August 2004 – one of eight he scored in 60 games for the Blues between 2003 and 2005.

Hide AdRoberts and fellow Blues team-mates Carl Baker and Conor Chaplin also replicated famous Pompey FA Cup goals before last weekend’s first round loss to Wycombe.
Baker, who has four Pompey goals this season, is tasked with matching Quicy Owusu-Abeyie’s goal against Southampton in the 2010 FA Cup clash between the sides, in which the Ghanaian netted the first in a 4-1 win.
Roberts recreates Jamie O’Hara’s goal from the same game, while Chaplin reproduces his goal from last season’s 2-2 draw away to Ipswich in the fourth round.
