The singer will be touring the UK in October last year to mark 35 years as a solo artist.

During the tour she will be playing a show at the Guildhall in Portsmouth.

After starting out as the lead singer of the Go-Go’s, one of the most successful all-female bands in history, in the 70s, she embarked on a solo career in 1985.

The ‘Decades Tour’ will celebrate her rich musical catalogue ranging from hits such as Heaven is a Place on Earth, Mad About You and Circle in the Sand.

Tickets for the Portsmouth show will go on sale at 10am on Friday, May 29.
