Police raid Hedge End house in early hours with two charged with supplying Class A drugs

POLICE have raided a house on a drugs warrant and have charged two people.

Another man was arrested after officers carried out a pre-planned warrant on Wednesday. A property in Station Road, Hedge End, was raided just after 6am.

The two people who are charged were due to appear before Southampton Magistrates Court yesterday. A statement from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: ‘Mirza Baig, aged 27, of Station Road in Netley Abbey, was charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and acquiring/use/possession of criminal property.

‘Dewan Eniyath Choudhury, aged 27, of Station Road in Netley Abbey, was charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and acquiring/use/possession of criminal property.

‘A 24-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and acquiring/use/possession of criminal property and possession of a firearm.

‘He was later released on conditional police bail until March 14, 2023.’
