'Do rate it. Is alive!' - Portsmouth fans react to starting XI v Millwall as 4 changes made
John Mousinho has once again made changes to Pompey’s starting XI
Pompey fans on social media have been reacting to the starting XI and bench John Mousinho has selected to today’s game against Mllwall.
The Blues boss has made four changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Wolves on Tuesday night.
Marlon Pack, Zak Swanson, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen and Marezi are all restored to the team at the expense of Rocco Shein, Jayden Meghoma, Ebou Adams and Tyrese Shade, who all drop to the bench.
Also included among the substitutes is Franco Umeh, who returns to a Pompey match-day sqad for the first time since January 11 when he suffered a hamstring injury against Arsenal.
Ben Killip drops out of the squad.
Here’s how the Fratton faithful have reacted to the team news...
@LukeEllisPUP: The squad does feel so much stronger and deeper this season. That bench is decent to be honest, not like last season when subs made us weaker.
@TheChief657: Swanson has been brilliant at RB so a strange move putting him at LB to get Devlin in. But they’re both goal machines so up the Blues.
@Daveyboy1995: Do rate it! Half decent bench as well.
@PompeyFlag: With the current injury list (still annoyed that this has been going on for 3 years at a stupidly high level), that's the 11 I would have gone with.
@JackDavis10: Considering injuries and schedule you’d have to say Mous is managing the minutes well and still picking up results.
@BigDaveUK1968: UMEH is alive!
@InnocentOnX: Swanny LB, I like it actually.
@RuskieRoo56: No 2 keepers on the bench is this a bad omen?
@lauratinyxq: Schmid in goal with Pack captaining is the exact spine this squad needed. Millwall won’t know what’s hit them when Kamara starts running at their backline.
